BSNL veteran Harinder Kumar appointed as new TRAI Secretary

Senior ITS officer Harinder Kumar has been appointed as TRAI's new Secretary for an initial two-year tenure on deputation. Previously serving as CGMT of BSNL's Maharashtra circle, Kumar brings decades of experience across BSNL and DoT. He takes charge amid key regulatory discussions on OTT services, broadband expansion, 5G rollouts, and spam communications.
