BSP chief Mayawati calls for high-level probe into Ansari's death

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Mayawati has called for a probe into the death of gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, who died of cardiac arrest in jail. His son Umar alleged that his father was given slow poison. "The serious allegations made by Ansari's family...require high-level investigation so that the true facts of his death can be revealed," Mayawati wrote on X.
