BSP chief Mayawati to not contest Lok Sabha elections

Bahujan Samaj Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati has announced she'll not contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, citing "current political situation". "I know I can win from any seat. All that I have to do is to file my nomination...It is more important for us to win more seats than for me to win one," Mayawati stated.
