BTech graduate stole bags on 'lucky' dates from train in MP: GRP

A 30-year-old BTech graduate, Deepak Maurya, was arrested in Gwalior for allegedly stealing luggage from AC train coaches. Police said he targeted the 3rd, 5th and 7th, which he considered lucky, and gave away empty bags to slum dwellers after removing valuables. The GRP recovered 34 bags and other belongings worth ₹8.26 lakh from his rented flat.
