Bucharest mayor Nicușor Dan wins Romania's Presidential elections

Bucharest mayor and pro-EU candidate Nicușor Dan on Sunday won the Romanian Presidential elections. Dan, who ran as an independent, got around 54% of the votes, while his opponent, Alliance for the Union of Romanians leader George Simion got around 46% of the votes. "Victory belongs to...each Romanian who went to vote [and] made their voice heard," Dan said.
