Budget 2026-27 should increase capex support to states by 10%: CII

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has proposed that the Budget 2026-27 should increase central capital expenditure by 12% and capex support to states by 10% in FY27. It also suggested creating a new ₹150 lakh crore National Infrastructure Pipeline for 2026-32. Additionally, it proposed tax credits or easier compliance for companies that increase investments or production.
