Budget may hike minimum EPS pension to ₹7,500 per month: Report

The Budget could increase the minimum pension given to private employees covered under the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) from ₹1,000 per month to ₹7,500, Financial Express reported. A delegation of EPS-95 pensioners urged for the hike and dearness allowance in a meeting with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The Budget will be presented on February 1.
