Buffett's Berkshire sells shares of China's BYD worth $44.9 mn

Warren Buffett's investment company Berkshire Hathaway has sold 1.55 million Hong Kong-listed shares of Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD for $44.9 million, a stock exchange filing showed. The sale lowered Berkshire's holdings in BYD's total issued H-shares to 12.9% on January 27, down from 13.04%. Berkshire acquired 225 million BYD shares for $232 million in 2008.
