Building that collapsed in Delhi, killing 6, had no sanctioned plan & fire NOC

The five-storey building that collapsed in Delhi's Satya Niketan, killing six people, had no sanctioned building plan and unauthorised construction in its basement, according to a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) official familiar with initial assessment. "This does not have any fire NOC despite so many rooms," another official said. The building was around 50 years old.
