Built a ₹4300 cr famous TV company of the 90s

In 1961, TP Gopalan Nambiar signed a deal to acquire British Physical Laboratories, established an electronics company, and renamed it BPL Limited. Starting as a medical electronics company for defence forces, it pivoted to colour TVs and video cassettes. By 1998, BPL's revenue soared to ₹4300 crore and became India's Top 10 TV brands.
