Built my first hospital with bank loan, no investors: Dr. Rao

KIMS Hospitals founder Dr B. Bhaskar Rao recalled how he built his first 200-bed hospital in his hometown in the year 2000 entirely through his own savings and bank loans, without external investors. The hospital offered surgeries at a 60% lower cost than nearby states. "I didn't have money or capability to attract doctors initially, just my reputation," he revealed.
