Bullets from country-made pistols killed 2 in violence over mosque's survey in UP
District Magistrate Rajender Pensiya said two people died due to bullets from country-made pistols after violence broke out in UP's Sambhal over a court-mandated survey of a Mughal-era mosque. "The reason for the death of the third person is not clear, but it will be after the post-mortem examination," he added. Police had refuted reports of firing at the protestors.
