Bullfrogs turn bright yellow for mating ritual in Mumbai forest

Indian bullfrogs in Mumbai's Aarey forest were seen changing from olive-green to bright vivid yellow after the first monsoon showers marking the frogs' annual mating ritual. A wildlife photographer said the bullfrogs' vocal sacs become striking blue during this time to attract females and establish dominance. An expert added that male bullfrogs outnumber females leading to fierce competition.
