Bumrah becomes fastest Indian to 50 Test wickets at home

On the opening day of India's home season for the 2025-27 ICC World Test Championship, Jasprit Bumrah began making history. During the first Test against the West Indies in Ahmedabad, he became the fastest Indian bowler to claim 50 wickets on home soil. He reached 50 Test wickets in just 1,747 deliveries, the fewest by any Indian bowler at home.
