Bunch of 24 'Ruby Roman' grapes sold for ₹7.5 lakh in Japan

A bunch of 24 grapes of 'Ruby Roman' variety was sold for over ₹7.5 lakh (1.2 million yen) at an auction in Japan on Tuesday. The grapes of this variety are known for being extremely juicy, with little acidity, high sugar content, and each grape weighs over 20 grams. A 45-year-old manager of Japanese hot spring inns bought the bunch.
