Bureaucracy's cinematic illiteracy: Shashi on Kerala film fest row

Criticising Centre's decision to block screening of 19 films at International Film Festival of Kerala, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said the "list suggests an extraordinary degree of cinematic illiteracy on the part of the bureaucracy". "Several of these banned films have been screened (and even awarded) at major Indian festivals in the past," he stated.
