Burglars use birthday cake to cover CCTV cameras in Kolkata

Three burglars allegedly looted ₹9 lakh in cash, jewellery and imported liquor from a Kolkata businessman's home hours after his wife shared pictures of a ₹5-lakh birthday necklace online. CCTV footage showed the gang smearing leftover cake on cameras to evade detection. Police suspect the social media post may have made the family a target.
