Bus where Pune woman was raped was parked 100 metres away from police station

The bus in which a 26-year-old woman was raped at Pune's Swargate Bus Stand was just 100 metres away from a police station, reports said. The bus belonged to the state transport agency, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). The accused, identified as Dattatraya Ramdas Gade, has a criminal record and is currently on the run, Times Now reported.
