Businesswoman Nowhera, who cheated 1.72 lakh people of ₹3,000 crore, arrested in Gurugram

ED has arrested Heera Group chief Nowhera Shaik from Gurugram in a ₹3,000-crore investment fraud case that involved 1.72 lakh investors. Shaik cheated people by promising annual 36% returns on their investments, ran 24 companies and operated 182 bank accounts. ED said Shaik's company Heera Group had no genuine business operations and the funds were diverted to personal accounts.
