Former Commerce Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam has been appointed as NITI Aayog's CEO while the think tank's current CEO, Parameswaran Iyer, has been appointed as World Bank's Executive Director. Subrahmanyam is a 1987 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre and holds a management degree from London Business School. The Centre had scrapped Article 370 when Subrahmanyam was J&K's Chief Secretary.
