Byju told US ally to flee before testimony, sent him Dubai ticket
BYJU'S Founder Byju Raveendran allegedly asked a US businessman to flee the country to avoid testifying against him. Ex-political consultant William Hailer, who Raveendran hired to regain control of parts of the startup, said Raveendran sent him a plane ticket to Dubai worth $10,700. He also offered a job with a salary of $500,000 in Dubai, Hailer told a judge.
