Bengaluru-based edtech startup Byju's Founder and CEO Byju Raveendran, a 37-year-old former teacher, is India's newest billionaire, Bloomberg said on Monday. This comes after Byju's valuation hit $5.7 billion after raising $150 million in funding led by Qatar Investment Authority earlier this month, Bloomberg added. Byju Raveendran owns more than 21% of the startup, Bloomberg said quoting sources.
