BYJU'S told to return course fee, pay ₹7,000 to customer after denying her refund

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has directed BYJU'S to refund the amount paid by a Ludhiana customer for its online programme. The customer had accused BYJU'S of causing mental agony after she was denied refund despite returning the programme within 15 days. BYJU'S was also directed to pay ₹7,000 as compensation and litigation charges with 8% per annum interest.
