ByteDance tells US it won't sell TikTok's algorithm: Reports

ByteDance has decided it will neither sell nor transfer the video-sharing app TikTok's algorithm in any sale or divestment, the South China Morning Post reported. While the company's US-based technology team would be free to develop a new algorithm, it would not share the source code behind the platform. This would be a condition for sale of TikTok's US assets.
