ByteDance to have maximum nine board directors: Report

TikTok owner ByteDance will reportedly expand its board of directors to a maximum of nine from five previously. The move was approved by the shareholders at an investor meeting. Reportedly, TikTok may face a $29 million fine in Britain for breaching data protection. TikTok is reportedly forming a deal with Oracle to store US users' data which ByteDance cannot access.
