ByteDance-owned VR firm Pico lays off 'small' number of workers
Virtual reality (VR) headset manufacturer Pico, owned by TikTok's Chinese developer ByteDance, said it was "parting ways with a small number of colleagues" as it continued to streamline its team. The company had reduced some teams by as much as 30%, the South China Morning Post reported on Thursday. Over 200 employees were affected, Reuters claimed in a separate report.
