CA loses ₹21-cr in cyber fraud after being promised 'high returns' in MP

A 70-year-old chartered accountant (CA) from Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior lost more than ₹21 crore over a period of six months to cyber fraudsters who lured him into fake investment scheme promising 'high returns'. The accused gained his trust by showing returns on small investments before creating a fake investment portal. Over 100 transactions were made from victim's four bank accounts.
