Cab driver accused of raping, killing 11-yr-old in Delhi injured in police encounter

A cab driver accused of kidnapping, raping and murdering an 11-year-old girl in Delhi was injured in an encounter after he attempted to open fire on the police team and escape from custody. He allegedly abducted the girl at around 5 am while she was sleeping on a pavement in Mehrauli. He was arrested within six hours of the crime.
