The Bengaluru police on Monday arrested a cab driver for allegedly swapping SIM and siphoning money from a woman's bank account. The accused had reportedly used the SIM to activate victim's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and other payment apps. He then transferred ₹3.45 lakh to his account and purchased a mobile phone and a scooter from the money, reports said.
