Cabinet approves ₹1,789-crore intelligent traffic management system for Delhi

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by PM Narendra Modi, on Wednesday approved a ₹1,789.52-crore Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) for Delhi to improve traffic flow and road safety. The project will cover 42 identified traffic corridors and will be rolled out in three phases over 24 months, followed by five years of operation and maintenance.
