Cabinet approves ₹23,437-crore railway projects across 6 states
The Union Cabinet has approved three railway projects across six states with an estimated cost of ₹23,437 crore. The projects include the construction of third and fourth lines between Nagda-Mathura, Guntakal-Wadi and Burhwal-Sitapur. This will expand Indian Railways' network by around 901 km across 19 districts in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
