Cabinet nod to rename institute on water after Syama Prasad Mookerjee

The Cabinet has approved renaming the National Centre for Drinking Water, Sanitation and Quality in Kolkata as Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee National Institute of Water and Sanitation. The institute was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi last month. It is set up on 8.72 acres of land at Joka in Diamond Harbour Road in the city.
