Cabinet to review railway staff bonus proposal, reports say

The Union Cabinet is expected to consider the productivity-linked bonus proposal for non-gazetted railway employees, reports stated. Under the current ceiling of ₹7,000 unchanged since 2014-15, eligible staff receive ₹17,951 for 78 days. While employee unions demanded raising the ceiling to ₹18,000 for a ₹46,184 bonus, the Railway Board warned against fake circulars, reports added.
