Cable bridge collapses in river 5 days after renovation in Guj, several people injured

A cable bridge collapsed in the Machchhu river in Gujarat's Morbi district five days after its renovation work got completed, injuring several people. In videos that have surfaced on social media, people are seen hanging on the leftover part of the bridge. PM Narendra Modi spoke to Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and sought urgent mobilisation of teams for rescue operations.
