Calcutta HC slams Abhishek Banerjee over remarks on Shah, calls it 'irresponsible'

Calcutta HC criticised TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee while granting him protection against coercive action in FIR over inflammatory remarks against Home Minister Amit Shah. "Why were these irresponsible statements made just before election? Had TMC been on winning side, then what would have happened?" said court. "Does it match with status of General Secretary of All India party?" court asked.
