Calcutta HC warns Bengal govt over FIRs against Abhishek Banerjee

The Calcutta High Court on Monday warned the West Bengal government against repeated FIRs against TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, saying it could give him blanket protection. The court said, "Enough is enough," adding that it has been hearing these matters since May 2026. The court further extended protection to Banerjee from coercive action in three FIRs till November 30.
