California recruit hit by car in South Whittier is in grave condition

One of the law enforcement recruits who was hit by a car in South Whittier last week is in grave condition, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. "Please keep him and his family in your prayers," the department said in a release. As many as 25 recruits were hit by the vehicle while they were jogging in the morning.
