California says Amazon colluded with firms to raise prices on other sites

Amazon colluded with other companies to raise the prices of listings on rival sites, emails released by California Attorney General Rob Bonta alleged. The newly released documents are part of a 2022 antitrust lawsuit against the firm, alleging it made agreements with vendors to "keep prices artificially high". Amazon has said its agreements are legal and benefit consumers.
