'Call of Duty' owner reports $7.5 bn revenue, to fire 775 workers
'Call of Duty' videogame publisher Activision Blizzard has said it will lay off 8% of its staff (around 775 employees). CEO Bobby Kotick made the announcement in an earnings call to investors after revealing that Activision had "once again achieved record results in 2018". Activision reported a net revenue of $7.5 billion in 2018 compared to $7.02 billion for 2017.
