Called off Azadi March to avoid imminent bloodshed: Imran Khan
Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan said he ended the 'Azadi March' last week to avoid "imminent bloodshed" after clashes between his party workers and police started escalating in Islamabad. He added that PM Shehbaz Sharif-led government would've been the ultimate beneficiary of any ensuing chaos and violence. Khan also admitted that his party workers at the rally "were carrying pistols".
