CalligoTech raises $1.1 mn led by Seafund & Artha Venture Fund

Semiconductor startup CalligoTech raised $1.1 million in Pre-Series A funding led by Seafund and joined by Artha Venture Fund. The funds will support R&D for its 64-core POSIT-based silicon chip (ver2.0), following a successful ver1.0 launch. The startup aims to expand talent, form global partnerships, and address computing inefficiencies in HPC and AI with energy-efficient chip design.
