Cambridge college removes Pride flag amid 'political neutrality' concerns

University of Cambridge's Gonville & Caius College has been criticised after it removed an LGBTQ+ flag citing "political neutrality" concerns. After raising the Pride flag at the beginning of February to mark the start of LGBT History Month, college council voted to ban flags other than the official Caius banner. Students said they felt "betrayed" and "disappointed" by the decision.
