Milk from a rabid cow can contain rabies virus, therefore, there's a risk of transmission if a person drinks it without boiling, as per an Indian Council of Agricultural Research report. According to the National Rabies Control Programme, there are no evidence-based reports of human rabies arising from the consumption of milk of such animals, but "strongly discouraged" doing so.
