Can't annex other countries: Danish, Greenlandic leaders to Trump

The Prime Ministers of Denmark and Greenland, Mette Frederiksen and Jens-Frederik Nielsen, demanded respect for their borders after Donald Trump appointed special envoy to the Danish territory, which he has said repeatedly should be under US control. "National borders and the sovereignty of states are rooted in international law...You cannot annex other countries," read a joint statement.
