Can't call it progress: Satya Nadella on 'handful of companies' controlling AI

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said public won't tolerate a few AI models and labs "doing all of the learning for the world". "You can't hand the world's curiosity to a handful of companies and call it progress," he stated. He further said the industry risks backlash if it keeps saying AI could be a weapon and eliminate all white-collar jobs.
