Can't do diplomacy with lies: Maldives Oppn on Muizzu's India trip

Maldivian Opposition reacted to President Mohamed Muizzu's India trip and said the government had realised that diplomacy can't be done with "lies". "Hope...this current trajectory in the relationship...continues," Maldivian Democratic Party leader Abdulla Shahid said. Notably, Muizzu agreed to let India deploy defence platforms months after India had to withdraw its military troops from Maldives.
