'Sacred Games' Iranian actress Elnaaz Norouzi, who has long criticised Iran’s Islamic Republic, said she cannot return to Iran and believes she will be killed if she does. She added that she had publicly spoken out against the government during protests following Mahsa Amini’s 2022 death. Amini died in police custody after being detained by morality police over her hijab.
