Can't shield customers anymore: Apple as it raises product prices by up to ₹1 lakh

Apple raised prices of its products, like iPad, MacBook, etc, by up to ₹1 lakh in India amid a surge in memory and storage chip costs due to AI. "We've never seen a component price increase this much, this quickly. We've shielded our customers...so far, but we've now reached a point where we need to begin raising ⁠prices," it said.
