Can we be happy if public is disappointed?: Tharoor as Sensex tumbles

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Sunday reacted to the Sensex slump following the announcement of Union Budget 2026. He said, "Can we be happy if they (people) are disappointed?" Also commenting on the proposed All India Institute of Ayurveda, he added, "We wanted this in Kerala. We have had a long tradition of Ayurveda. But we didn't hear Kerala's name."
