Can you do whatever you like: Delhi HC to EC on deploying teachers for SIR

Delhi High Court criticised the Election Commission (EC) for deploying school teachers for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. A bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia said, "Taking shade of Article 324, you do whatever you like?" The bench also wanted to know under what authority teachers were compelled to take the work.
